This college is situated near the railway station of Narsinghpur i.e. a district head quarter of Jabalpur Commissionery in mahakaushal region of Madhya Pradesh (India). It is on the Mumbai Calcutta (Via Allahabad) Railway Trunk rout of country. Narsinghpur is interconnected with Bhopal Sagar N.H. 26. Agriculture is the main occupation of people of this district.

Vdihyabati Mushran Government Polytechnic College Narsinghpur was established in 1999; firmly known as Vdihyabati Mushran Government Women’s Polytechnic College. The word “Women’s” was omitted in its name by government of MP in 2009. It is affiliated by Rajeev Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal.

Currently we are offering four diploma courses as Modern Office Management (3 Yr. Diploma), Electronics Engineering (3 Yr. Diploma), Computer Science (3 Yr. Diploma) and Fashion Technology (2 Yr. Diploma).  Each branch is having intake of 60. We also have well furnished and equipped laboratories for all of them.

The area covered by college and campus premises of approximate 14 acres with girl’s hostel facility and great garden.
